How this works
Who is behind PediBot, and how an answer is built
PediBot is made by one person — not a hospital, a company or a medical society. It is free, it carries no ads and it asks for no account. What follows is the whole method, including what it cannot do.
Who writes the answers
Nobody writes them by hand, and PediBot does not know medicine. It reads the sheets that paediatric societies and health services publish, and rewrites the part that answers your question, with a number pointing back to the exact section it came from. When the catalogue has nothing that answers it, PediBot says so instead of guessing. The person behind it is a developer, not a doctor.
What happens between your question and the answer
- Warning signs first. Before anything is searched, your text is checked against alarm rules written from published emergency criteria. If one matches, the answer opens with where to go and how soon — and that decision never passes through the AI.
- Numbers come from tables. Doses, vaccination calendars, rehydration amounts and emergency numbers are read from the published table for your country. A model is never asked to do arithmetic on your child.
- Only the catalogue is searched. The search runs over 713 documents from 26 organisations and nothing else: no open web, no forums, nothing the model happens to remember from its training.
- Source or silence. Every sentence carries the number of the passage it came from, and a checker throws out any sentence its source does not hold up. An answer without a source is not published — you get «I have nothing reliable on this».

What PediBot is not
- It is not medical advice and it does not replace your child's doctor.
- No paediatrician has reviewed these texts. The day one does, it will say so here, with a name and a date — and not a day before.
- It does not diagnose. It never says what a rash is, or what your child has.
- No account, no ads, nothing loaded from third parties: nothing here follows you.
How to check what we say
None of this has to be taken on trust. What is behind it is published and open:
If you find something wrong
Write to pedibot.ai@gmail.com with the question and what came back. A wrong answer in paediatrics is not one bug among others: it is the only thing that matters here, and it gets fixed before anything else.
