Why this exists
No parent should be left without a paediatric answer because they cannot pay for one, because the clinic is far, or because nobody there speaks their language. That is why this is free, asks for no account and answers in eight languages.
Most parents cannot phone a paediatrician at 3 a.m., and many cannot phone one at all. This site answers from the guidelines paediatric societies and health ministries already publish for families, says which document each sentence came from, and says plainly when it does not know. It is free, it asks for no account and carries no advertising; the person who built it pays for it.
How it works
The safety check runs first, the guidelines are found second, and the writing comes last — only from what was found. If nothing is found, PediBot says so.
A rule-based check looks for the signs emergency paediatricians publish for parents — a baby under 3 months with fever, vomiting after a head bump, a swallowed battery. If one matches, the answer opens with "go now".
{docs} documents from paediatric societies and public health bodies. No forums, no blogs. Each one is listed with its organisation and a link to the original.
«According to the SEUP…», «the WHO recommends…»: the answer names the bodies it comes from. A verifier rejects any reply that cites something that wasn’t found, or states a dose the guideline didn’t. Doses come from the calculator, never from the AI.
Dose calculator
Type the name on your bottle (Calpol, Tylenol, Apiretal, Dalsy, Nurofen, Advil…) and your child's weight. Fixed tables from the AEPap dosing guide, with hard maximums. No AI involved.
Paracetamol by weight, straight from the table
Always check the strength printed on your bottle.

Paediatric societies and public health bodies from Spain, the UK, the US, Germany, Canada and the WHO — leaflets written for parents, with licences that allow reuse. Nothing else.
Where to find PediBot
Support
Keeping PediBot running costs money, and today the person who built it pays for it. Everything here is free for everyone and stays that way: no account, no ads, no paywall. If you want to know how it is funded, or to help, that is one page away.
The app is on the way. We are getting PediBot ready for Android. It will be announced here. Meanwhile you can install this site on your phone from the browser menu: it opens with no signal at all for the emergency numbers and for anything you have already read.
